Flight dynamics, mission design, and space systems, built on a background in military intelligence analysis.
I'm an aerospace engineering student at the University of South Carolina and an undergraduate researcher in the Adaptive Real-Time Systems Laboratory, where I'm building a six-degree-of-freedom flight-dynamics simulation of a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In January 2027 I start as a NASA Pathways intern at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Alongside engineering, I serve as an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army National Guard. That service has included a deployment to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, with Combined Joint Task Force–Horn of Africa. That work taught me to make sound calls from incomplete data, brief senior leaders clearly, and keep every assumption traceable. I bring the same habits to engineering. My long-term goal is the space industry, with particular interest in spacesuit and extravehicular activity (EVA) systems and astrodynamics.

SWIFT is an open-source fixed-wing UAV research platform. The team needed a physics-based model of the aircraft to test flight conditions and support future guidance and control work before committing hardware to the air.
I built a hybrid Simulink architecture: an Aerospace Blockset 6-DOF equations-of-motion core, with MATLAB Function blocks calling shared force-and-moment code. The aerodynamic coefficient buildup and propulsion model are derived from first principles. Mass is tracked as a component budget that sums to the all-up weight, and any number not yet measured runs as a tagged estimate, so the model works today and tightens as test data comes in.
A lunar surface vehicle concept for the Moon's south pole, developed by a national student team under NASA mentorship and taken from science goals through preliminary design.
I led the science sub-team: defining science objectives, selecting instruments, and building the requirements traceability matrix that tied each science goal to a measurable system requirement. I worked scope trades against mass, power, and cost with systems engineering, then presented science and payload at PDR.

Planning an astrophotography session means juggling target visibility, timing, and conditions across several sources. I wanted one place to decide what to shoot on a given night.
I built a React dashboard that brings target planning into a single view, and have iterated it through three versions as my observing workflow changed.
South Carolina Army National Guard · HHB, 1-178th Field Artillery Battalion
As the battalion intelligence section's noncommissioned officer in charge (NCOIC), I lead analysis and reporting to senior leadership, set priorities for operational deliverables, and assess system-level risk for mission planning.
Combined Joint Task Force–Horn of Africa, U.S. Africa Command · Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti
Prepared theater and strategic-level threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments on high-value infrastructure from classified and open-source data, and represented the task force's intelligence enterprise in interagency and coalition working groups.
I'm open to aerospace internships, research collaborations, and conversations about flight dynamics or space systems.
